Life's NOT a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways–Chardy in one hand–stogie in the other–body thoroughly used up, totally worn out screaming ‘WOOHOO! What a ride':headbang:
Oops, I didn't even leave a comment before. Shame on me, I just had to tag it before I ran off to take the kids to school. It's a lovely photo, Simon, how did you do it? Is it afew frames stitched together or a swishy lens you used? Either way I love the picture :)
Hi Tiffany, yes it is 8 images stitched in a program called PTGui, does a pretty good job most of the time. Reminds me, did you ever do that painting from my photo of Venice?

If I'm to fall
Would you be there to applaud?
Or would you hide behind them all?
'Cause if I were to go
In my heart you'll grow
And that's where you belong.

Not at all, I didn't want to overwhelm your page with comments as I figured you would probably have a far amount to wade through, congrats on the DD on that note.

I thoroughly enjoyed your poem, I believe it conveyed the incredibly deep loss so many must have felt and still feel today. Well done. And may those who lost their lives that day be resting in peace.
Thank you, and I'm really glad you liked the poem.
